Driving in Fog
Fog reduces visibility and reaction time. It’s common near rivers and valleys in Hungary and Germany, especially during early mornings and autumn.
Use low-beam headlights or fog lights—never high beams (they reflect off fog).
Increase following distance and reduce speed below 50 km/h if visibility drops below 50 meters.
Use road markers and right-side delineators for lane guidance.
Turn on windshield defoggers and avoid relying on automatic light sensors.
Take breaks if eye strain or fatigue sets in—fog driving is mentally exhausting.
Purpose for Training:
To help drivers maintain visibility, avoid collisions, and follow legal speed limits during foggy conditions.
